Located in San Juan county Washington, Friday Harbor is a cute small town that has a population of only 3,000 people, and was incorporated in the year 1909. Being part of the San Juan Islands, the charming city is only 1.23 miles in diameter, and only about half of the city is developed. With a slow and relaxing pace, Friday Harbor is a city that is very walkable, incredibly historic, and quaint. And since the city is located around so much water, there are several water activities to do which include whale watching, kayaking, fishing, boating, and sailing. There is also great hiking, biking, and shopping available in the city.
