There are also great bars, coffee houses, wine bars, and distilleries in the fun city of Bellingham!
For anyone that loves to celebrate, this city is definitely your place. There are Oktoberfest events held every fall and St. Patrick's Day celebrations which occur annually. There is also the polar bear plunge that is held every January, the Spring craft and antique show held in March, the Northwest raspberry festival in July, the Bellingham Bay marathon held in September, and of course, loads of events held in November and December geared towards the holidays such as the allied arts holiday festival, the Fairhaven holiday festival and art walk, Lynden’s lighted parade, the annual ring of fire and hope, and the holiday port festival and gingerbread house contest.
